Our grant program offers young professionals aged 15-25 the opportunity to fund a project and develop refined professional skills beyond their ordinary pool of resources.

The Grant Requirements

We’re looking for the brightest crayon in the box. Those with  an unquenchable drive. To be eligible for The Pegasus Grant, applicants must adhere to the following simple requirements:

◦ Be between the ages of 15 and 25

◦ Be a resident of Boulder County or

◦ Attend a school in Boulder County or

◦ Work for a business in Boulder County

The Pegasus Grant supports ongoing education and professional development as young entrepreneurs begin to focus their business model or field of study in a particular discipline. We have allocated $1000 of cash funding per accepted candidate in addition to all of the resources offered in conjunction to developing their idea with a value of $15,000.

The program aims to develop critical thinking skills while offering one-on-one mentorship, leveraging resources within the business community to encourage development of a viable business model or idea.

The grant is aimed to accelerate the transition from a young entrepreneur to a full fledged leader, paving the way to success. By the end of the grant period, young entrepreneurs will have completed a full cycle and finish developing their business plan, financial model and initial strategy with seasoned professionals.

Once the cycle has been completed the young entrepreneur will celebrate with a one-on-one lunch with established entrepreneurs to share their ideas.

Women In Entrepreneurship

The Pegasus Grant is dedicated to seeing young women succeed in the business realm.

Gone are the days of business being a man’s world. Our commitment to young women is that a minimum of one young woman receives the opportunity to reap the benefits of The Pegasus Grant every year, plus we’ve allocated extra resources to ensure their project is a slamming success.

Women are ⅓ less likely to access equity financing through grants, angel investments and venture capital than their male counterparts.
